Personal Information

If you are a tutor, teacher, lecturer, instructor or coaching institution, KidEx requires you to register on our Website by providing some or all of: your name, email ID, personal phone number, password, location, gender, resume and your professional qualifications. The Website also allows you to share a photograph/video that may help better identify you and which you may share at your own discretion. If you are a prospective customer looking to get connected with Coach(es) and/or access any of KidEx’s features, our Website & App collects some or all of: your name, DOB, email ID, personal phone number, personal photo, select personal information (child’s name, child’s image, child’s school & class information, child’s DOB & gender, relation with child, child’s learning profile related inputs, family member’s name, phone number, email, gender), content created by you/your child & family, and location. Further, in order to consummate certain transactions, our Website & App may also require you to submit your credit/debit card and/or bank account details through a secure Third Party Payment Gateway provider. We may collect your bank details in certain circumstances, where money needs to be transferred to you via NEFT to your bank account. You may opt to share your contact book information to easily navigate the app as you wish to invite your personal network to become a part of the KidEx Website & App system. Such information is kept strictly confidential. KidEx also collects your other personal details including but not limited to your feedback, suggestions, views, comments, etc. that may be shared/volunteered by you on our discussion forums or other pages which you may access or visit on our Website & App. Such information being in the public domain is available for access for all our Website’s users and visitors. In this regard, you are advised to exercise discretion before you make such details public, as such information may be vulnerable to mis-use and can be easily misused. KidEx in this regard fully disclaims any liability(ies) or claim(s) which may arise by use/misuse of such information shared by you, by any third party or any party not known to KidEx.
For KidEx to recognize you as a registered member, you must login with your login credentials. Your login credentials are never shared by KidEx with anybody within or outside of KidEx.
All other information exchanged by you with KidEx in the form of written communication, responses to emails, feedback required from you, participation in discussions, etc. shall be deemed to be confidential and shall be owned by KidEx and shall be available for the exclusive use of KidEx. Our Website & app does not collect information about you unless you specifically and knowingly provide it. KidEx DOES NOT trade or sell your information in any manner, except as specified herein, or if express consent is sought from you.

KidEx is committed to protecting the privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information. How is this information stored?
We provide you with the ability to access, rectify, port and erase your data. You can inform us on info@kid-ex.com to delete your account or account related selective information.
We store data until it is no longer necessary to provide our services and products, or until your account is deleted - whichever comes first. This is a case-by-case determination that depends on things like the nature of the data, why it is collected and processed, and relevant legal or operational retention needs.
When you delete your account, we delete things you have posted, such as your photos, and you won't be able to recover that information later. Information that others have shared about you isn't part of your account and won't be deleted.

How does KidEx address children's privacy?

KidEx requires the visitor to disclose their DOB while creating the profile. Creating of profile is important to use Website & App features. If visitor is below 18 years of age, visitor is required to link a guardian to the account for access. Guardian has access to activity by the child on the Website/App. If you are the parent or guardian of a child under 18 years of age and believe that they have disclosed personal information to us which needs to be deleted/edited, please contact us at info@kid-ex.com so that we may take immediate steps to delete/edit the child's information.

The terms and conditions of this policy may be changed from time to time, without your consent (express or implied) to reflect changes in our practices concerning the collection and use of your personal information. The revised policy will be effective immediately upon posting to our web site unless otherwise mentioned. This version of the policy is effective from August, 2022. You shall be bound by the revised Privacy Policy and it is your sole responsibility to check the same from time to time.
